Dr. Conrado O. Beckles
Dr. Conrado O. Beckles is the CEO and Founder of EquiPath Health and Research Tampa Bay, LLC, a clinical research organization dedicated to advancing equitable and innovative healthcare solutions through cutting-edge clinical trials. A seasoned healthcare entrepreneur, Dr. Beckles has built a career focused on driving innovation, accessibility, and excellence in healthcare and clinical research.
Dr. Beckles earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and his Master of Science in Counseling & Psychology from Troy State University. He went on to complete his PhD in Counseling & Psychology at Barry University, solidifying his foundation in behavioral health and research methodologies.
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in multiple states, including Florida and Massachusetts, Dr. Beckles has spent years consulting for various pharmaceutical companies and Contract Research Organizations (CROs). He also serves on the boards of pharmaceutical companies, where he contributes to strategic decision-making and the advancement of clinical research and drug development practices.
Dr. Beckles is also a licensed pilot, with over 30 years of flying experience, exemplifying his passion for precision, discipline, and exploration.

Dr. Richard B. Powell
Dr. Richard B. Powell, a Partner at EquiPath Research and an Internal Medicine physician, brings over 25 years of experience in ambulatory care, hospital, and clinical research settings. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Powell also earned a Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida. This educational foundation served as a catalyst for him to participate in innovative methods to improve care of the elderly with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (Medicare) and promote efficient use of electronic health records with healthcare technology organizations.
An enduring interest in introducing innovative practices in the medical arena fostered additional experience in clinical research. As a Principal Investigator, Dr. Powell has conducted studies across many therapeutic areas including cardiovascular disease, central nervous system conditions, vaccines for infectious disease prevention, diabetes, respiratory diseases.
In conjunction with his church and private non-profit organizations, he has taken part in numerous medical missions and public health projects that have positively impacted the lives of individuals across the globe.
Dr. Arthur N. Thorpe, Jr.
Dr. Arthur N. Thorpe, Jr., a Principal Investigator at Equipath Health, is a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon and urogynecologist with 20 years of experience delivering quality and compassionate care to women across the life span. A board certified and fellowship-trained physician, Dr. Thorpe’s extensive clinical and administrative experience is grounded in a solid foundation of academic excellence and achievement.
Dr. Thorpe is a graduate of Howard University, College of Medicine. He completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at York Hospital in York, PA, during which time Dr. Thorpe was a Felix Rutledge fellow in Gynecologic Oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. Following residency, Dr. Thorpe completed a fellowship in Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. Additionally, Dr. Thorpe holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute of Strayer University. Dr. Thorpe is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Thorpe is an ABOG Specialty Certifying Examiner, a Reviewer for the AAGL Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and he sits on several boards of directors. Dr. Thorpe is licensed to practice medicine in several states including Florida.
Dr. Thorpe’s mission is to improve health outcomes for women by empowering them to take charge of their health and wellness and advocate for their needs and rights in the healthcare system. He is passionate about advancing the field of women’s health through innovation, education, and collaboration.
Dr. Thorpe is also a commercial-rated pilot with over 30 years of flying experience. When not working, Dr. Thorpe can be found at the airport or in the sky.
